The thought of a little boy's face on his 5th birthday in two weeks time, when he gets to meet this cutie called Jim. He will be soooo happy as he has wanted a puppy to come and live with us for soooo long! Mr Lark and I went to visit Jim and his mum and brothers today, he is an 8 week-old golden retriever, with a gentle and very inquisitive nature.Thanks to Jacinta for a great theme this week - you too can join THIS IS on Angela's Three Buttons blog!

Oh wow...that furry face could make me a dog wanter. I had a golden retriever for a weekend (he was a lost dog) and he was soooo smart.
Something about little boys and puppy dog tails... He is going to be so HAPPY when he sees that wriggly bundle of happiness. I wish I was a fly on the wall for that birthday surprise!

*sigh*! what an absoulte treasure! I grew up with three golden retrievers, and there's nothing like their beautiful soft puppy smell or their loopy sense of fun.
