This week the printer delivered my new Exercise Books. They come in a set of three and each one features a cover inspired by the vintage wallpapers I collect. Inside there are 16 lined pages, each with a little Lark bird. They are the size of old school exercise books. I am very pleased with them. I probably wont put them onto the website for a week or two until after the trade fair, but I couldn't wait to show them!

OOh I am so excited I have just found your blog! My faraways live in Melbourne and we always come up to Daylesford for a day out. We had tea in a wonderful place which I have completeley forgotten the name of! It will come to me, and I bought the best vintage book about Crochet, which my hubby rolled his eyes at! Anyway sorry for babbling on! Love the Wallpaper, Love the knitted creatures I am going to have a bit of a read of your blog!

The purple pattern is the cousin of some contact in an old kitchen dresser I have. My Mum used to cover our primary school exercize books with funky contact every year...very 70's.

the vintage looking patterns are divine, but it's the little detail of a bird on each page that gets me in! I hope birds never go out of fashion!
How wonderful! I really think those are such a good idea. I too love vintage wallpaper and I always cary a little notebook around with me. Can't wait until they are available!

My mother was a primary teacher and had a pile of wallpaper sample books - she'd use the samples to cover my exercise books when I was little.
