In March 2008 thieves broke into an aviary in a park in Gloucester UK and stole over 100 birds - mainly finches and cockatiels. But the park's budgerigars were left untouched. This mini-book from Aviary Press, produced on an antique letterpress, contains the full press release. It also includes several original drawings of the budgies (who were so regretfully, or perhaps luckily, left behind).

That is hilarious. And yet sad at the same time. Poor budgies. So underrated.
Aw, poor budgies!! So sad :-9 And they're such great little friends, too!
I think the budgies probably didn't want to go! Super little book! thanks for sharing it :D Sarah
Sweet little book. I don't like birds in cages. No where to fly....
